Ashlen is excited to return to Project Read after teaching as a Lab instructor in 2019. She has a bachelor's degree in Linguistics with a minor in TESOL from Brigham Young University, and is currently a professional track MBA candidate at Utah Valley University. Ashlen has over 10 years of teaching experience in various capacities, and believes everyone (including herself) can and should be a lifelong learner. Ashlen is from Littleton, Colorado, and she loves spending time outdoors. Her favorite pastimes include reading, painting, traveling, trying new things, and anything in and around water. Ashlen lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband Mckay and their rescue tortoise Yodie.
